Raniganj Lions Jashoda Devi Maliram Chanani DAV Public School, Raniganj, started functioning on 1st April, 1999, housed in a beautifully constructed building on a piece of 3.12 acres of land with a big playground of more than 2 acres. Along with the Lions Club of Raniganj School Welfare Trust, the Chanani brothers of Raniganj, now residing in USA are the chief donors of the project. Co-operation of other donors of Raniganj is a perennial inspiration.

This is an English Medium Co-educational Public School affiliated to C.B.S.E. Delhi up to +2 level in Science, Commerce and Humanities streams.

The C.B.S.E granted affiliation (ID: 2430076, Code: 15690 to this school in 1999. The institution at present takes up to the responsibility of 2200 students having 48 class rooms, from LKG to Std. XII with a faculty of 68 qualified, devoted and experienced teachers. The school is placed on 3.12 acres of land. It has three blocks: Block A-LKG to Il Block B: III to VII, Block C VIll to XII.
